    Spoiler:
Galarian Rapidash is absolutely perfect and I'm in love.

I love Galarian Ponyta, but always felt like maybe its mane and tail was a bit too puffy and it looked a little off. But I think with Galarian Rapidash they scaled it all much better for a nice, clean design. I also love the new eyes, which are different from both Galarian/original Ponyta and original Rapidash. They have a bit of an attitude in them.

The only thing is that I think that Galarian Rapidash is such a distinct design from original Rapidash that they could have gotten away with calling it a brand new Pokemon, and with all of the excessive Gen I pandering, I honestly think they probably just should have... But oh well. I love it.

After all the recent leaks, I finally can see a team I would be happy with (before the leaks I couldn't even come up with a full team I would be unhappy with). So far, it goes as:

    Spoiler:
-Grookey or Rillaboom (the guy is steadily growing on me)
    -Drednaw
    -Dubwool
    -Grimmsnarl
    -Frosmoth
    -Thievul

Obviously it is subject to change. Grimmsnarl will be out if it turns out to be the pseudo. Also I have this belief I will fall in love with this pokémon once we get to see it.

EDIT: Damn, I decided to put the images together so I could visualize the team and Grookey fits so perfectly I am starting to pity Rillaboom:

My team (if my team consists of only NEW, Galarmons and Galarian Forms) is:

    Spoiler:
    --Intelleon (Sobbles final evo)
--Coalossol (Rolycoly's final evo); would also be my Gigantamax Pokemon
    --Galarian Rapidash
--Frosmoth (the new Bug/Ice-type moth Pokemon)
    --Grimmsnarl (Impidimp's final evo)
    --Dubwool (Wooloo's final evo)

    Meh...
    Spoiler:
for me the last evo looks like it could have been the first evo... it‘s just somehow not cool/overwhelming enough for the last evo, in my opinion... would have loved something more like blaziken

Rly hard for me this time. I don‘t rly like any of these end evos :-/

    Spoiler:
It just ocurred to me that the reason alot of people are fi.ding the starter evos underwhelming is likely because they have completely bonkers Kaiju transformations.

One thing I have to say is that this gen the middle evos don't feel lile a stopgap. Like the first and third forms were designed and then they just meet in the middle for the second. They feel like fully individual creatures with some design elements unique to themselves. I actually really like Sobble's second emo look with those bright green parts.

Actually it seems drastic color shifts seem to be a theme this gen from early stages to late stages. I think I'd prefer Impidimp's final more if it had retained a bit more of that pinkish color, even saturated down a bit. As it stands that ugly muddy purple/grey marrs what could potentially more visually appealing. I absolutely love Corviknight's midstage. Like hot damn that suckers getting an Eviolite.

    Regarding Scorbunny evos:

    Spoiler:
Based just on this first look, Cinderace is easily my favorite of the three. It looks more like a middle evolution, but I like that, it makes it look youthful compared to every other starter so far. But what I like the most is that I am getting zero athlete/soccer player vibe from it, instead of makes me think of those SNES games from the 90's. I could see it picking a sword and entering a dungeon to kill monsters in a 90's game and I love it.

Raboot on the other hand... just like Cinderace looks like a middle evolution, it looks like a base form and it doesn't work here because we already have Scorbunny. It also looks nothing like the other two, motif-wise. Looking at it, I actually feel like Scorbunny/Cinderace would be one evolution line while Raboot and its evolution would be their rivals.

    Spoiler:

I’ve wondered for months about whether to call my grookie shankey or thwack, as both amuse me equally.

Leaked name for Grookie’s evo? Thwackey. Bahahahahahaha!

If this is real, this is how you know you were meant to have a certain Pokémon. Depending on stats I might do the dewott strat of running it with eviolite, even though rillaboom is still fairly cool to me.

Okay does anyone know if Vulpix/Ninetales is a version exclusive to Sword or Shield? It's always been in past versions.

I ask because it always has been a staple on my team and will determine which version I buy.

Ponyta is Shield exclusive. Farfetched is in Sword.

The only other exlusives per game we know are the legendaries, Gothitelle/Renuculus and some dragons.

    No word on Vulpix.

Mandibuzz is in shield so probably sword will get Braviary since they tend to be opposites.
