    ... THE FINAL SEASON EVERYONE:

I've had very mixed feelings about Season 5 (suffice to say: I pinball between thinking its not far behind Seasons 3 and 4 in quality to thinking its the worst season since the first), so hearing that this is the last season brings a sort of hope to me.

Hoping you'll cap out with the greats like Gravity Falls, Adventure Time and Regular Show, Bojack (and Steven Universe if we're never getting that 6th season)

Final season? Yeah, sounds right. A good spot for it to end.

What are the green things that Bojack is so pissed off to see?

I think Netflix could be done for after this. They literally are ending and or losing every single interesting show they had lol.

Not exactly, They still got MST3K, Miraculous Ladybug, The Dark Crystal, and the upcoming new He-Man series.

I still have yet to view all of Bojack, but I know I really should get on it.

Read tweet which implied it was Netflix decision to end the show. Hoping it gets a proper ending and not something ambiguous or open ended personally.

An extra 4 episodes this season is nice, even if it is cut in half. Wonder if the halfway point is a cliffhanger .org written to be a two part season.

As conclusive of an ending you can do for a show about a dudes lifelong struggle with mental health. By the nature of the story told it feels like it isn't going to end with all threads neatly wrapped up or anything to final, but i could be wrong.

Did... did they just pull an anti-Penultimate-Episode-depression-anza on us?:

    Hidden:
Episode 7: Wouldja look at that, Bojack's really getting his shit together and even his friends are improving their lives, nowhere to go but up from here :)

    Episode 8: siiiiiiiiiike

A few more episodes to go but "Surprise!" was absolutely hilarious with the streaming jokes and physical comedy.

I know the first part of the second episode was supposed to be overwhelming, but god damnit. Maybe it's the added fact I woke up with a mild but persistent headache today, but that whole bit was almost maddening to me.

EDIT: Virgil Van Cleef cameo! Took so long...

Glad the episodes seemed to be focusing on storylines wrapping up character arcs instead of coming up with high concept ideas. Id rather have the show end cohesively then the show forcing another Free Churro or Fish Out of Water to try out new concepts.

I think Surprise! counts as another episode thats there to see how long they can run with one idea for a whole episode.

    Ok, Part 1 finished
    Spoiler:
It's funny, when season 2 ended with BoJack seemingly going for a complete change in his behavior, I felt betrayed. What attracted me to the character was the feeling that what was wrong about him was his very self, the core of who he was, and there was nothing that could be done about that - there is no way one can be free from themselves. At that moment, BoJack finding a way out to improve made me feel like how he described his feelings when someone leaves rehab. And when it ended as a fake out, I was definitely pleased.
This time, though, it was such a relief to see him finally improving I actually found myself worrying in the scenes when a drawback seemed to be imminent. Episode 7 was particularly touching in that sense, as the whole thing gave me that overall pleasant feeling that "things are getting better". I don't know how much this tells of the series and how much is just the fact it seems to be finely tuned with my own phases through the last years, but it's still amazing how it seems to always give me exactly what I am looking for. Things are not perfect and in a sense nobody is happy, there is this air of melancholy circling the characters, but it's of the peaceful kind, not the stale one.
I am really curious to see how Part 2 will wrap everything and how BoJack will get out of the ultimate trial that he kept at the back of his mind even while on his search for accountability. But for once I am looking forward holding to the belief things will end up fine for him... somehow.

Ya know, I completely forgot that this season was being split into 2 parts lol

    Spoiler:
Which means that there's still time to undo the relatively nice/bittersweet ending to part 1. Yay....
