I started my second semester of college, it's been a bit stressful. All my classes seem easy except Marketing because there are a lot of quizzes, and it's all essay questions. Regardless, getting all As so far, I think I put too much pressure on myself because I want to keep my 4.0 GPA so I get get a scholarship easier for going to study abroad in Japan. Plus, I know it look good on my resume. As for today and the weekend, just lots of studying, so it be easier for the rest of the week.

Me and the family celebrated my grandmother's 88th birthday today by going to Bonefish Grill for dinner. I had Maryland crab cakes for the appetizer and had Alaskan fish and chips.

People who powerwank who is stronger created their own forum, the general section purged all dissent, all entertaining shitstirrers left to attend to their lives/careers/outside world and lots of people just got into akward and/or creepy social situations and stopped coming. And others just sit and observe and never post for whatever reasons people choose to do so. It's getting hard to get a conversation going with the lack of enthusiasm going on around here, hence the quiet two posts a day sections with occasional bursts of giving a fuck and showing a semblance of life.

I slip here and there in here mostly throw myself in to get the latest chapter I'll be honest.
Life has been hectic to the point I can't remember the last time I was properly 'active' here.
I think I got a Bachelors AND a Masters Arts in the time I've been sporadic?

Felt like I wanted to share this out of happy it made me.

On September 3 ,I placed this one order on Amazon, specifically, The Alchemist(Spanish Edition), hard cover book.

two days later I got a massage on my Email, that only said "Package was damaged, it will not be sent", and did not tell me anything else at all, nothing to do, no info on my money or replacements, I just leave it like that a full day to see if Amazon would eventually tell me what to do next. Nothing, I got a bit anxious and so I searched for the customer service, for which I found a chat room that was quite hard to find. So I told this guy about this issue, and after asking me for the order number, he told me; "I could give you a refund, or a replacement, whatever you want", and since I really wanted this book(cause it was a gift for a friend of mine), and said edition is not found here in Mexico, I asked for a replacement, and let him know that I was a bit worried it would take even longer now, for which he told me he was going to send it with high priority(yo' know, the expensive way of getting things from Amazon), but with no extra charge. And so he did, I got a message from Amazon telling me, I got a replacement and it would arrive within 4-5 days(it did in 4 btw), and so everything went smoothly up to that point, I got the book even sooner, without extra-payments and everyone was happy.

Everything cool until yesterday, I was literally doing nothing on my laptop, and suddenly got an Email saying "your money for said order have been refunded", and I honestly thought, uggh spam. so I paid no mind, today that I got paid and had the chance to check my accound on an atm, there was this extra amount and I went uh? I worked no extra hours this week, so whatever, came back home, actually checked that Email I got the previous day and yup, for some reason Amazon did refund the money I paid for the book.

it seems something around $2 or $2.50 dollars went down on bank transfers from the original $21 I paid, but jeez, that's so far the cheapest thing I ever got from Amazon.

I don't know how oftenly this would happen, but I do feel like Amazon had a glitch, a beneficial one.

My days been pretty bad today, literally been discriminated (denied a job) because of being Australian, in Australia (funny that). Although this was done very indirectly and it was so obvious.

I have done law subjects on this in University regarding employment law etc. so I am familiar with the law and the rights that people have.
Would it be really worth suing for since I don't have the money? Although I could get the defendants to pay it.

As for the damages, I assume that I would be able to get X amount of pay as compensation for what I should have been paid if I had been employed fairly for a certain period.
